Online Counseling – our newest way to connect with you
With this service we are hoping to assist people who would otherwise not seek help. Communicating electronically has its advantages and its disadvantages. The convenience and privacy of online counseling are definitely a plus, but developing a trusting therapist / client relationship without face to face interaction is difficult. We believe that this new service will produce the best results when combined with some face to face sessions.
Our online counseling will be changing over time as we learn together. Currently we will utilize Yahoo Instant Messenger.
To begin, read the HIPPA Statement and Consent Form to understand your rites to privacy. The points addressed in these documents are important. Contact us with any questions.
Next fill out the Online Contract. Check the appropriate boxes, and submit the form. We will contact you within 24 hours of your submitted form to set up the first IM counseling session.
Our website is new and still under some construction. At this time the submit button is not attaching the contract to the email. Would you please copy and paste the full contract to the email message and send it to us. We appreciate your patience as we work the kinks out of our system.
